The new
Mahindra Marazzo MPV 2018 was launched today in India at a starting price of ₹
9.9 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Currently, the MPV is available in four variants
M2, M4, M6 and M8, and the superior variant is priced at ₹ 13.90 lakh
(ex-showroom, Delhi). The Marazzo is a totally new product of the national
automobile manufacturer and is currently the company's flagship model in the
country. In India, the new Mahindra Marazzo will face Toyota segment leader
Innova Crysta and Tata Hexa. The Mahindra Marazzo mileage is approximately 17.6
kmpl. Mahindra has invested $ 200 million for the design and development of the
Marazzo MPV.

The new
Mahindra Marazzo is powered by a new 1.5-liter four-cylinder diesel engine that
has been adjusted to offer a maximum of 120 bhp and develops a maximum torque
of 300 Nm. The engine is only coupled to a 6-speed manual gearbox, and at this
time, there is no automatic transmission on offer. Mahindra is also working on
the gasoline engine and an automatic transmission for the Marazzo and could
present the same when the BS VI emission standards take effect from April 2020.
